Water Meters Fire Series Meters
For Your Dedicated and Multi-Use Fire Service Applications
Industrial ? Multi-Residential ? Commercial
- Mainline AWWA Class II Turbine Meter:
- Exclusive "floating rotor" greatly reducing bearing friction - and life cycle costs.
- Unitized measuring elements. Simplify inventory and installation. Factory calibrated and tested.
- Direct coupled turbine rotor preventing slippage during fast starts.
- Accuracy over a much wider flow range than proportional designs.
- Corrosion resistant epoxy coated ductile cast iron housing.
- Low maintenance extending field performance for less downtime.
- Low head loss assuring optimum pressure for fire extinguishing.
- Tamper resistant calibration vane allowing in-line accuracy adjustments while under pressure, reducing repair frequency.
- Epoxy-coated Steel Fire Service Strainer/Flow Conditioner. Corrosion-resistant, protecting the meter element from debris, and preventing downstream flow blockage.
- Assured Connectivity. Compatible with all Badger® meter reading systems with the appropriate encoder register: Local, ORION®, ITRON®, GALAXY®, and BadgerTouch®. Also compatible with other approved technologies.
Recordall Fire Series Meters (FSMA) Recordall Fire Series meters provide revenue-generating flexibility and control when you need to measure high volume usage, such as when sprinklers are activated through a single supply line, or for other high volume applications — industrial, multi-residential and commercial. The fire series meters were developed to protect water utilities from unauthorized use of water from fire service lines. They are also used to protect your system from unauthorized flow for purposes other than fire protection. |
Recordall Fire Series Assemblies (FSAA) Select the Recordall Fire Series assembly when the fire service main is also to be used for supplying water for secondary services, such as drinking fountains and general purpose plumbing fixtures. In addition to the strainer, turbo meter and check valve, the assembly also includes a bypass configuration with a Turbo or Disc Series meter for diverting flow other than for fire demand. |
