The PLANTSAFE 8000 is a PLC based solution approved for SIL 2 applications as per IEC 61508/61511 by TÜV for safety system applications. The system can be configured with dual or simplex CPU with simplex I/O. The system's rugged open control platform incorporates Modbus TCP with built-in Fault Tolerant Ethernet (FTE) for redundant communications, providing you simple but secure connections to a wide range of standard software and hardware packages. This unique open approach allows users flexible migration paths. The PLANTSAFE 7000 is a SIL 3 PLC based F&G system utilizing single rack and multiple rack system platforms. All systems are TÜV certified to SIL 3 according to IEC 61508 and meet all the requirements of IEC 61511 for when used as part of a F&G system. The system is inherently safe, achieving SIL 3 without the need for voting or redundant modules, and without any "degraded modes" or "time restrictions" for SIL 3 operation. The PLANTSAFE 6000 is a PLC based system utilizing a range of intelligent safety PLC's and remote I/O blocks (safety nodes). The PLC's and remote I/O blocks are connected via high speed safeethernet - using standard Ethernet networking hardware and TÜV certified for SIL 3 integrity between each. The safeethernet network can be implemented in a high availability "ring" architecture allowing you to distribute your safety processing nodes throughout the plant - where ever you need them, providing significant saving in home run cabling. The PlantSafe 6000 is built on proven inherently safe technology SIL 3 certified "out of the box", with no user configuration engineering required. PLC nodes start at just eight I/O with a comprehensive variety of remote I/O blocks, the small size and low cost make it an ideal fit for distributed applications with low I/O counts - but flexible enough to build large networks of safety protection.
