Zigbee is targeted at ridio-frequency(RF) application that require a low data rate, long battery life and secure networking solution, is intended to be simpler and less enpensive than Bluetooth.

  In the project, we need to test a USB dongle using Zigbee IC2520. RF test item include:

  1.  TX Power(-4dBm+/-2dBm) 2405MHz@0dBm Tx channel

  2.  TX Power (-4dBm+/-2dBm) 2440MHz@0dBm Tx channel

  3.  TX Power (-4dBm+/-2dBm) 2480MHz@0dBm Tx channel

  4.  Frequency Error(2405MHz +/- 45KHz) Tx channel

  5.  Frequency Error(2480MHz +/- 45KHz) Tx channel

  6. Rx sensitivity(PER<1%) 2405MHz Rx channel

  7. Rx sensitivity(PER<1%) 2440MHz Rx channel

  8. Rx sensitivity(PER<1%) 2480MHz Rx channel

  9. EVM(Tx channel 2405MHz)

  10. EVM(Tx channel 2480MHz)

       The RF test depend on USA Litepoint’s wireless tester IQflex. IQflex can be used to test WiFi, Zigbee and Bluetooth.
