模具鋼材5CrMnMo是在中碳鋼的基礎(chǔ)上主要加入Cr、Mn、Mo三元素而研制成的，也可看作把5CrNiMo鋼中的Ni元素由Mn元素取代而形成的。該鋼是熱作模具鋼，除淬透性，耐熱疲勞性稍差外，5CrMnMo鋼具有與5CrNiMo鋼類似的性能，淬透性稍差·此鋼適于制作要求具有較高強(qiáng)度和高耐磨性的各種類型鍛?！ひ箜g性較高時(shí)，可采用電渣重熔鋼· 5CrMnMo鋼中碳含量保持在0.40%~0.60%，可獲得較高的強(qiáng)度與耐熱疲勞強(qiáng)度、一定的硬度與耐磨性、良好的韌性鋼與導(dǎo)熱性。
